Objectives
The buyer was seeking for a light product to use for the flooring of a cycle track. It had to replace the old worn-out and slippery wood flooring.
Solution
M.M. has supplied a grating type SCH12/30_IFR with Q-PAINT surface finishing that is suitable for walking bare foot (according to 51097 norm), that was fixed on a metal structure of the overpass. The purpose was to build a resistant light weight structure and the propensity to use FRP products was improved by the fact that maintenance was not required because of the resistance of FRP to atmospheric agents.
