Resistant, custom-made solutions for corrosive industrial environments
Resistant, custom-made solutions for corrosive industrial environments
M.M. offers a range of FRP – Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer – gratings, ideal for use in environments with chemical agents. These products are designed to meet the specific needs of primary chemical industries (e.g. fertiliser production) and secondary chemical industries (e.g. pharmaceutical sector), offering a combination of strength, durability and safety..

Premium Line: maximum protection against corrosion
I gPremium Line gratings are made with pure resins free from additives:
- Isophthalic resins, with high resistance to chemical agents
- Vinylester resins, which, in addition to chemical resistance, offer excellent mechanical performance, even at high temperatures
This choice of raw material provides effective protection for the glass fibre, ensuring long product life even in demanding environments.
Conductive and antistatic gratings for ATEX zones
M.M. offers gratings in conductive (CFR Line) and antistatic/dissipative (ESD LINE finish) versions, required for ATEX (“ATmosphere EXplosive”) zones in accordance with the ATEX Directive 1999/92/EC, which sets out the minimum health and safety requirements for workplaces where explosive atmospheres may occur. The ATEX Directive identifies different zones based on the likelihood of an explosive atmosphere being present and specifies the criteria for selecting products within these zones. M.M.’s CFR Line gratings provide a no-spark, anti-static product that does not constitute a potential source of ignition.
Custom-made structures and versatile applications
M.M. can produce custom gratings and profiles, using raw materials (resins and reinforcements) that achieve high levels of chemical resistance, taking into account the chemical substances present in the environment of application.
FRP gratings and profiles are used in:
- Working platforms
- Walkways
- Inclined stairways with parapets
- Vertical ladders
- Internal machinery components
All structures comply with the UNI EN ISO 14122-1,2,3,4 standard for safe access to machinery.2 – 1,2,3,4 per l’accesso sicuro ai macchinari.
