M.M. fibreglass gratings are suited for outdoor use, also as street furniture, as they are resistant to humidity, low temperatures and sudden changes in temperature. They are light, easy to install and require very little maintenance; for these reasons, M.M. fibreglass gratings can be used to protect and fence trees and cover flower beds. M.M. fibreglass gratings are the ideal alternative to the gratings made of cast iron or steel, which are much more expensive. Besides standard tree stands, M.M. can also provide specific solutions for irregular tree stand shapes. M.M. gratings, which are also available in a covered version, can be used for decorative fountains, also in translucent versions, to create light effects. Furthermore, M.M. gratings can be used as a cover for light wells. In order to improve safety in pedestrian areas, M.M. gratings, which are manufactured according to the DIN 24537-3 standard, can be supplied in a slip resistant version according to the DIN 51130 standard, and in a micromesh (or “heel proof”) version in compliance with the most stringent EU regulations. Available in various colours, they can be easily adapted to the surrounding environment.
