For the third consecutive year, M.M. has been awarded an EcoVadis medal — from the world's leading corporate sustainability rating platform, which assesses the performance of over 150,000 companies across 175 countries against shared criteria verified by an international community of buyers and suppliers.
In 2026, M.M. achieves a score of 79/100: the highest absolute result ever attained by the company, up from 77 points in 2025. This places M.M. among the top 7% most sustainable companies globally.
The EcoVadis score evaluates the quality of a company's sustainability management system across four key pillars — Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement — and reflects M.M.'s concrete, ongoing commitment to integrating sustainability into its production and management processes.

A moving benchmark
There is an important distinction to bear in mind when reading the EcoVadis scorecard: the score reflects M.M.'s performance in absolute terms; the percentile reflects M.M.'s performance relative to others.
The EcoVadis medal is not awarded by crossing fixed thresholds, but based on a company's percentile ranking against all those assessed in the global database over the preceding 12 months. This calculation places M.M. at the 93rd percentile in 2026, compared to the 95th in 2025 — because the number of companies worldwide that have improved their ESG management systems has grown, raising the overall benchmark in the process. M.M. has improved its score, and so has the market.

"Compared to 2025, competition on sustainability has intensified," said Emanuel Morandini, CEO of M.M. "But this is a stimulating dynamic: it represents a healthy drive to keep improving and to set even higher targets. It is a spur that does not close doors, but opens them — projecting M.M. towards future scenarios in which sustainability becomes a field for ongoing benchmarking and growth."
