This Christmas, M.M. has chosen not to purchase traditional corporate gifts, but instead to support a high-value social project promoted the ProgettoAutismo FVG Foundation (ONLUS, a non-profit organisation).
“FACCIAMO IL MARE” (Let’s make the sea) is a fundraising initiative open to all to support the construction of the “Enzo Cainero” Cohousing Village, dedicated to the memory of the patron of the Giro d’Italia, Italy’s premier professional cycling race, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and a great supporter of the Foundation.
The “Enzo Cainero” Cohousing Village
In Udine (Italy), ProgettoAutismo FVG Foundation is building a cohousing village for people with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
This is an innovative, one-of-a-kind project in Italy: it provides support to vulnerable people together with their families, through a mutual support model designed to keep parents and children together and to ease the care burden on the brothers and sisters of people with disabilities.
By supporting this project, M.M. wishes to help build a more inclusive and sustainable future for people with autism and their loved ones.
