The FRP manhole covers have a minimum amount of interference in radio frequency, mobile signals combined with modern data transmission systems. The electromagnetic permeability tests of FRP manhole covers carried out in a specialized laboratory on a frequency from 800 MHz to 6 GHz, showed a low signal reduction. The manhole covers in composite material pave, therefore, the way for the growth and development of "smart cities", in terms of better data transmission. |
