Until 15 September, visitors can explore the installation EDICOLA. Comunità in rete, located in the garden of the House of Architecture at the Roman Aquarium (Casa dell’Architettura complesso monumentale Acquario Romano), Piazza Manfredo Fanti 47, Rome.

Built using M.M. translucent FRP gratings, EDICOLA is an example of how innovative materials can engage with contemporary design. Translucent FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers), chosen for its functional and aesthetic properties, combines lightness, strength and transparency.

The structure was designed by the AUT AUT Architettura studio and was created for the ROME ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL / FAR24-25, conceived and curated by the Order of Architects PPC of Rome and its province.

Conceived as a temporary, open space available to the “educating community”, EDICOLA serves as a reference point for promoting opportunities for meeting, exchange and participation. During the Festival, it hosted talks on communication, writing, music and performance.

Symbolically inspired by ancient kiosks and traditional newsstands, the installation becomes an ideal place for the dissemination and sharing of knowledge.
